[toggle_framed title=”When?” variation=””][showdate_dow], [showdate_mdy]. Spectators to arrive at 11 AM. Entrants invited to arrive as early as 10 AM. Only vehicles brought on trailers will be allowed into the show area before 10 AM. Only tractor trailers will be allowed access to the show area before 9 AM.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Where?” variation=””]For [showdate_year] the show has MOVED to a different lot on the Georgia Tech campus! Please take a look at our Time & Place page for more information. We look forward to seeing you![/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”The show is in a parking lot.  Where are the restrooms?” variation=””]We are still working on restrooms but will keep you updated.
[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Why is it so #*%#! expensive to enter this show!” variation=””]The show doesn’t cost a thing to enter. It is absolutely free. The suggested donation is listed to help those that would like to make a donation through this event. Any amount, including nothing, is fully acceptable. Many of the entrants give thousands and even millions of dollars to Georgia Tech in other ways, so donating through this event would be redundant for them. Others are just getting back in touch with Georgia Tech, and do not feel comfortable donating anything. The organizers are simply passionate about the participation of the Georgia Tech community.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Will the show be canceled if it is raining?” variation=””]If it is a light to moderate or intermittent rain the show will go on as planned. If it is a heavy rain we will cancel the show. Please stay tuned to the web page as we will announce any changes here.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Will alcohol be allowed as part of the tailgating?” variation=””]Unfortunately, adult beverages will not be allowed on campus as a part of this year’s event.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”How will the vehicles be judged?” variation=””]It is not the intention of the organizers for the judging to be the focus of this particular event. This year a series of prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges. This is a little different than previous years but the hope is that the changes will result in more interaction between our various fans[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Will there be trailer parking for participants not driving their cars to the show?” variation=””]Yes, there is some extremely limited trailer parking on the lot. Please find a show organizer when you arrive at the show to arrange for trailer parking.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”How many cars will be at the show?” variation=””]The organizers will keep the [showdate_year] show to a number under 150 automobiles. Using history as a guide we have always had between 75 and 230 cars. The exact number is largely dependent on the weather and YOU! It has always been the intent of the show to attract extremely interesting cars and owners not just lots of commonplace cars.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”How do I register?” variation=””]The registration link is now active. Find the “Register” link on the home page of this web site. Fill out the information and note that only a few fields are required. Note that an address is listed for sending in the suggested donation in check form made out to the Georgia Tech Foundation. The address is:

Attention: Eric Trevena, College of Design
Georgia Tech Auto Show
245 4th Street
Atlanta, Ga 30332

Please make sure the check has “[showdate_year] Auto Show” and references Acct. # 491-00-0009 on the comment line. The donation is not required and has no connection with your ability to fully participate in the show. A letter of acknowledgment for your donation will be sent for tax purposes.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Can I register on the day of the show?” variation=””]Possibly, though we REALLY prefer cars be registered through the website by the midnight before [showdate_dow], [showdate_mdy]. This allows the organizers to plan the show and have a good idea what the turnout will be. In the event we have too many cars for our available space we will prioritize preregistered cars. Additional cars will be routed to the spectator area and will not be eligible for judging or prizes. Show space is limited and will likely fill up ahead of even the [showdate_mdy] deadline. Submit a registration early to reserve a space for your entry.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”Do spectators need to purchase a ticket or pay for entrance?” variation=””]There is no entrance or parking fee for spectators. Viewing of the show is open to the public. If you have really enjoyed the show please consider making a small donation to help defray the cost of producing this annual GT Spring tradition and supporting the automotive culture on the GT campus and within the community. We are happy to take cash or checks at the information tent or you can mail a check to:

[toggle_framed title=”What type of cars will be on display?” variation=””]This auto show is for cars and motorcycles of all types and conditions. However, only Georgia Tech students, former students, faculty, staff, alumni, fans, and corporate sponsors are invited to participate by displaying a vehicle. If you are affiliated with Georgia Tech we want you to display your ride.[/toggle_framed]

[toggle_framed title=”How can I help organize the Show?” variation=””]The best way to get involved is to use the Contact Form. Provide your contact info and what sorts of things you would like to help with and we will contact you.[/toggle_framed]
