The donation is not required and has no connection with your ability to fully participate in the show. A letter of acknowledgement for your donation will be sent for tax purposes.
Q: Why is it so #*%#! expensive to enter this show!
A: The show doens't cost a thing to enter. It is absolutely free. The suggested donation is listed to help those that would like to make a donation through this event. Any amount, including nothing, is fully acceptable. Many of the entrants give thousands and even millions of dollars to Georgia Tech in other ways, so donating through this event would be redundant for them. Others are just getting back in touch with Georgia Tech, and dont feel comfortable donating anything. The organizers are simply passionate about the participation of the Georgia Tech community.
Q: Will the show be canceled if it is raining?
A: The show will be held rain or shine. If rain is forecast, the show will be moved into a covered parking deck nearby. Return to this web site for more information in case of severe weather cancellation. Believe it or not, it was snowing at the 2005 show but the activities continued.
